THE CHARACTERS OF GODS HAND

 Once a  Notorious pirate,  jean Lafitte  turned his life over to the side of the righteous. After drinking the waters of life and becoming Immortal Lafitte vowed to redeem his reputation and atone for his lifetime of Sin. Soon after he joined the N.O.P.D, the New Orleans Occult and Protection Department which was one of many agencies that protected the world from the evils that lurked in the shadows.
 

The Voodoo Queen herself Marie Laveau. Once a feared acolyte of the Kings army she left the order after falling in love with Jean Lafitte. the two would head up the Special Investigative Unit of the New Orleans Occult and Protection Division (NOPD) to clean up and protect the city from rogue occult elements living or dead. It is her Death that draws Lafitte back to New Orleans but it will be her Love that will ultimately save his soul

Jade is a Gaelic witch that was trained by chinese monks before going to japan and training to become one of the deadliest hunters in the world. She and Lafitte became teammates when they found themselves after the same quarry. Lafitte saved her life and she has been indebted to him ever since

John Whiteclaw also known as "Whitey" is an American Indian born in the harsh climate of North Dakota. He is one of the last of his kind and has sworn undying loyalty to lafitte after he helped Whitey catch his father's killer. John is from an ancient tribe of Yetis that were betrayed centuries earlier by their lycan brothers.

Simply known as Finn, a name given him by Lafitte, not much else is Known about the aquatic born creature. Lafitte found and rescued Finn near the wreckage of and old WW2 Nazi submarine that he was investigating some disappearances. The two fought and killed the creature responsible and spent a week in quarantine together and became fast friends. What is known is that Finn is extremely strong and fiercely loyal to his team.

Victoria simply know as "Vic" is the teams communication and tech junkie. caught by Lafitte years earlier trying to steal identities, he gave her a second chance to put her skills to good use. Namely helping him track and hunt those things which go bump in the night. There is more to Vic then it first appears but her loyalty to Lafitte is never in question

Many the Gypsy is Lafitte's one time mentor and long time friend. known as the "Velvet Gypsy" due to his origins and smooth talking abilities Many is one of the most renowned and influential dealer of black market items in the world. Many is an Immortal that is well versed in the occult as well as a highly proficient user of magic. Always known for his calm demeanor don't let his laissez faire attitude fool you, he is one of the most dangerous men you will ever encounter

Special Agent Gillhooley got his start in the I.R.A. but was quickly disillusioned by when their group’s leader betrayed his team and cost them their lives. agent Gillhooley swore he would never be on the wrong side again. He joined the division and was transferred to their New Orleans offices.

Nick Robicheaux is a special investigator for the NOPD. Once one of Lafitte's partners now he is the top cop that has been keeping it together on Lafitte's old stomping grounds. he is assigned to be liaison to Lafitte's team and try to keep them from getting into too much trouble and at the same time keep them from destroying the city. something is different about "RO" but Lafitte can't quite put his finger on it.

Lieutenant Xavier is the new lead Investigator that occupies the position once held by Lafitte. The two couldn't be more different. Xavier is a by the book policy maker that has built his career on running "old relics" like Lafitte out of the agency. To him there is no room for those who don't follow procedure to the letter. 

Captain Marko leads the New Orleans branch of the Division. Gruff and Crude he is a no-nonsense man that has built his reputation on being unwavering in his pursuits of dealing with those that step over the line. he has spent the last 15 years trying to heal his city from the effects of Katrina and Lafitte's return threatens to tear the old wounds open. He has given Lafitte 48 hours to solve the case before he throws him out of his city...personally!

The Hood is a mysterious figure that slowly overtook the New Orleans occult underground crime scene. Nothing is known about the Hood except he is cunning and ruthless. It soon becomes clear to Lafitte that he is the one behind Marie's death.
